What is CultureBaby?
CultureBaby is an online global children's boutique specializing in international clothes, toys and accessories for babies and children from birth to age 6.
CultureBaby believes that it is important that children know the world they will inherit. Our mission is to offer children, and their family and friends, products that celebrate cultural heritage and a love of global diversity while maintaining a fresh, modern design aesthetic.
We seek out products from around the world that are conceptualized, designed, and crafted by international entrepreneurs who offer kids the opportunity to bring the wider world into their wardrobe or toy-chest.
Who are the CultureBaby Moms?
Natalia is the founder and managing partner of CultureBaby. She started the company in 2011 when her son was five months old. On bad days, she puts the whole thing down to a fit of postpartum lunacy. But on most days, she loves seeking out new global products for CultureBaby and hearing from mothers worldwide about how they celebrate their culture and heritage with their kids. Natalia's upbringing and education both predisposed her to be fascinated by international education and cultural exchange. Living in four countries before the age of twelve, she was always surprised by how little her friends in her new country understood the old friends she had left behind. Her personal life led her overseas again after she married a military man and she continues to love roaming the world with her husband and young son. She can currently be found in Rabat, Morocco.

Monica joined CultureBaby as a managing partner after retiring from corporate America once her third child was born. Her extensive marketing and design background, her love for shopping and her self-induced nomadic lifestyle led her straight to CultureBaby. Traveling for relocations, for vacations, for work sessions, for pampering...has always been a highlight in her life. Between a laugh and a squirm, her daughter will tell you that she has lived in five different homes by the time she was six years old. So now she is very excited and blessed to be using her sky miles to find fun, design-focused products that will make kids happy and mothers proud.
After spending time in Athens, Paris, and Geneva she now travels out of the New York area with her husband and three kids.
Monica is also the co-publisher of Hoolaboola, a design blog that promotes artisanal, green designers in the children's world.
