Our first preview collection - TIMO Handmade

I will admit to being slightly obsessed with our current and very first preview collection!  I first came across TIMO handmade in Tel Aviv last summer. I blogged about our trip through Israel at the time and I was particularly taken by my time in Jaffa, a crusader port with a very hip undercurrent.

TIMO Handmade is a collection of dolls lovingly crafted by Timor Cohen who developed a unique technique of drawing with thread; using her sewing machine to design the faces, hair and spirit of her family dolls. I also couldn't get her adorable birds and bunnies out of my head and knew I just had to have them for CultureBaby. Each item is one of a kind, made using up-cycled fabric discarded by local dress makers and designers.

I am so pleased to FINALLY have TIMO handmade on our site. They are a perfect fit for our very first preview collection. Make sure to reserve your bird, bunny or family doll today.
