About Us

CultureBaby is a global children's boutique specializing in international clothes, toys and accessories for babies and children from birth to age 6.

We believe that it is important for children know the world they will inherit.  So our mission is to welcome children to the world with products that leave the world a better place.

We offer children, and their family and friends, products and ideas that celebrate cultural heritage and global diversity while maintaining a fresh, modern design aesthetic.  We seek out products from around the world that are conceptualized, designed, and crafted by international entrepreneurs, designers and artisans. Our products are in keeping with the highest standards of the baby industry.  We seek out safe, non-toxic and organic items, as well as items made sustainably, ethically and under fair-trade conditions.  After all, we know that you want your choices to leave the world a better place for the next generation to inherit!

CultureBaby invites you to follow our onsite blog to learn more about our global partners, creating beautiful products for baby and child, and our community of parents, authors, activists, artists and more who are committed to engaging both adults and children in discovery, cultural exchange and building a better, more interconnected world.

Our Team

Natalia Rankine-Galloway, Founder and Managing Partner

Natalia founded CultureBaby in 2012 when her son was five months old. On bad days, she puts the whole thing down to a fit of postpartum lunacy. But on most days, she loves seeking out new global products for CultureBaby and hearing from mothers worldwide about how they celebrate culture with their kids.  She can currently be found in Washington DC.

Monica Dreger, Managing Partner and Creative Director

Monica joined CultureBaby as a managing partner after retiring from corporate America once her third child was born. You can find her in New York where she is also the co-publisher of Hoolaboola, a design blog that promotes artisanal, green designers in the children's world, and maintains a personal blog at The Portrait of a Family.

Apostolos Mintzis, Director of Communications

Recently landed at CultureBaby from Athens, Apo(stolos) Mintzis has volunteered his digital marketing expertise and retail experience -from his shop owner days- to help CultureBaby grow. He'll be combining strategy building around fresh ideas and digging into analytics to find ways to improve our customer experience.
